Momail on iPhones

Both the iPhone 3G and the "old" iPhone are very popular among our users - both because of ease of use as well as our mail optimization (eg, "smaller" mails require less data usuage and enable faster delivery). If you'd also like to set Momail up on your iPhone, just follow these directions below:

Click on Settings > Mail > Add Account.

Choose Other.

Out of your preference click on IMAP or POP.

Fill in name, e-mail address and description.

Host name for incoming is imap.momail.xx or pop.momail.xx (xx being your country domain)

Host name for outgoing is smtp.momail.xx

User name and password is the same for both incoming and outgoing.

If you, after filling in the information, is asked to try with SSL, then accept this.

The iPhone should let you know that it is not possible to connect. This is okay. It may also take up to several minutes before this message comes up so please have a little patience.

After this step, proceed to Advanced (unless you managed to do this before (if) it asked you to try with SSL).

Here you turn off SSL for both Incoming and Outgoing.

Also make sure that the Outgoing port is 2525.

Authentication should be set to Password.
